Household Items

As with household furniture, often our beneficiary families are coming from accommodation where it may not have been possible, or practical, to keep certain things in the home that may be considered basic requirements. In setting up our homes we like to provide some basic household items that will make life more comfortable and simpler from day one. While not an exhaustive list, below are some of the essential items your donation could provide for our next home build project:

• Various sized cooking pots & pans
• 3 plastic wash bowls
• Plates, cutlery, cups/mugs
• 2 lockable metal clothing storage trunks
• 3 20Ltr Jerry Cans
• 2 high-security padlocks for property external doors
• Sets of bedclothes & pillows (quantity as required)
• New clothing items
• A supply of soap

From case to case the items supplied will vary somewhat, but you can see that these are not luxuries, rather basic household items that will be used frequently from day to day. If you would like to make a donation towards the costs of these items for our next home build we would be very grateful for your support. If you would like to fundraise to cover the entire costs for these items we would be happy to support you in your efforts by promoting any activities or events you may be planning.
